How to Generate TIN on JTB Portal (tin.jtb.gov.ng) Step 1: Go to the Portal Open your browser. Visit 👉 https://tin.jtb.gov.ng Step 2: Choose Your Category On the home page, you will see options like: Individual (for personal TIN) Non-Individual (for businesses or companies) Click the one that applies to you. Step 3: Fill in Your Details For individuals, you’ll need: • NIN (National Identification Number) or BVN (Bank Verification Number) • Full name (must match NIN/BVN) • Date of birth • Phone number • Email address For businesses, you’ll need: • RC Number (from CAC) • Business name • Business type and address • Director/owner’s details • Step 4: Submit the Form After filling in your information, click Submit. The system will process your request. • Step 5: Get Your TIN If successful, your TIN will be generated instantly. You can also download your TIN certificate from the portal. Step 6: Verify Your TIN To confirm, go to 👉 https://tinverification.jtb.gov.ng Enter your TIN or your registration details.
